These three episodes of KQED’s The Bay podcast were submitted to the 2025 Online Journalism Awards and won First Place in the Excellence in Audio Digital Storytelling, Daily/Weekly News category. Judges wrote, “The Bay tells important stories about issues that impact the community with depth, care and skill. This is, quite simply, excellent local journalism that deepens listeners’ relationship with their community, and great audio news storytelling.” I edited and produced all three of these episodes.
